What? How? (and a little faq)
WHAT DO THESE LOOPS DO? These short looping clips show up in Spotify’s “Now Playing” view in place of static album art, adding extra flavor to your songs. They run up to 8 seconds and use a vertical 1080 x 1920 format. Think of it as something between album artwork and music videos. As a bonus, tracks with these clips — also called 'Canvas' — can also appear in the visual feeds on Spotify Home, making it easier for listeners to stumble onto your music. And when your track gets shared from Spotify to Instagram Stories, its Canvas goes along too, complete with a link to play the song — a much more eye-catching look.
HOW TO ADD LOOPS TO YOUR SONGS It’s super simple: ★ Log in to your Spotify for Artists account ★ Head to the Music tab ★ Pick a track ★ Click Add Canvas (or Create Canvas) ★ Upload your video file — maybe even one from Hell Yes Loop Lab ⚡ That’s all there is to it. F A Q Do I get my loop right away? ↳ Yes. You’ll instantly receive a download link in your email inbox for the hi-res, watermark-free file. (If it doesn’t show up right away, check your spam folder just in case.) Can I use the same loop in different tracks? ↳ No. Each licensed loop is intended for one track only, which resonates with the idea of the limited-edition selling of each loop. Can I use the loop on other platforms, like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram? ↳ Yes you can. While the loops are designed to fit Spotify’s specs, you’re free to use them in other platforms to promote the song associated with the loop. Can I use the loop for projects other than songs? ↳ Not the ones available in this site, but drop us a message — we can usually work something out. Can I edit the loops? ↳ Yes. You’re free to edit, crop, retime, or re-encode the file to match technical needs, as long as to promote the song associated with the loop. What can’t I do with the loops? ↳ You cannot resell, share, include them in templates or asset packs, or distribute the loops in any form.
